How to supply Artwork

Information about our ad sizes

Please refer to the sizes stated in your contract.

If you don't know what to put in your ad;

Start with basic details like your business name, address, phone number, opening hours and so on. Don't forget to send us a copy of your logo if you have one, and any images you wish to include (see guidelines below). Remember: we cannot design an ad for your business if we don't know anything about you!
 
All images should be Hi-resolution (300dpi). All artwork supplied should be at the actual image size or larger, ie 300dpi at 100 percent scaling. Remember: Taking logos or images from websites is not accepted as they are not at hi-res and cannot be reproduced in print.

Saving your files:

Supply file documents in any of the following formats, or formats compatible with:
a)      Quark Xpress 6.5 (or earlier)
b)      Illustrator CS (or earlier), saved as EPS file with all text converted to outlines
         (if not sending fonts).
c)      Photoshop CS (or earlier) - saved in CMYK
         Please supply all relevant fonts and TIF/EPS with document laser proof.
d)      Images and logos to be saved at 300dpi.

PLEASE DO NOT SUPPLY COREL DRAW, PAGEMAKER, POWERPOINT or MS PUBLISHER FILES.

Save them as EPS or TIF for MAC. FREEHAND files may be saved as ILLUSTRATOR (AI) docs.

We accept editorial text as Microsoft Word documents with no images or logos placed in the document.

Please mail us a printout so we can check that files are printing correctly.

Preferred formats:

Photos - PDF or JPG
Vector graphics - .AI or .EPS
Images and logos to be saved at 300dpi.
