AAA Tourism owns and manages, on behalf of Australia’s Auto Clubs, Australia’s official STAR Rating Scheme, which provides consistent STAR Ratings for over 11,000 accommodation properties located throughout Australia.
Increasingly, Governments, accommodation providers, inbound tour operators and industry bodies are focussing on developing Australia as a quality tourism destination. STAR Ratings underpin this push for quality which is critical to major inbound markets as well as domestic tourism.
STAR Ratings play an important role in the Australian tourism industry’s commitment to deliver quality visitor experiences.
Independent research by Nexus Research (2004) shows that STAR Ratings are recognised by 95% of consumers and are an integral part of the accommodation decision process.
AAA Tourism, in partnership with Australia’s Auto Clubs:
